Special Training Notice

We have reorganized our training program

Over the past two years, we have scheduled from one to four Emergency Seminars and Certified First Aid Courses per month,

and two Free Educational Seminars per month.

Now due to our increased participation in shows, expos, and conventions, training will only be scheduled upon request.

Classes can either take place here in our certified training center, or an alternate location of your choice.

We can accommodate up to 12 people.  Larger groups should make arrangements for other facilities, or we will do so at additional cost.

We are available for training most weekdays and Sundays (days or evenings), as well as some Saturdays.

Get Ready

Here at GetReady! Emergency Planning Center, we offer a broad range of emergency seminars in our Education and Training Center.

They will be scheduled according to community needs and availability. This means that classroom instruction may take place on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Unless otherwise noted, seminars will be offered at the individual rate of $19.95 per two-hour session.

Click on the seminar name at the bottom of this page for details.  On a case-by-case basis, group discounts will be considered. While seminars will generally be presented in the GetReady! facility, off-site classes will be held based on need and availability.  Special considerations will be given to a group requesting a specific seminar or course that is not currently on the GetReady! training schedule.

American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Training Centers and Instructors provide CPR, AED, and first aid training programs for the community.

ASHI's programs conform to national standards and are based on the same scientific guidelines and treatment recommendations found in the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR), the same as those used by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) for course development.

All professional resuscitation programs meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditations of Medical Transport Services.

Our emergency seminars are proprietary and customized -- 2-4 hours -- $20-$40/student

We offer a number of certified first aid courses by the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI)

program -- 2-16 hours -- $30-$120/student.  These courses are listed below.
